Adjectives and definitions get depleted when the context is Shahrukh Khan. Let me share my thoughts about this man in this piece of writing.
I have always envied the energy and positive vibes of Shahrukh Khan. This man comes with loads of energy and positive vibes and is a great connoisseur of establishing and asserting ones’s position and stature. He is someone who has established his stature in the industry with sheer hardwork and calculations. He started off as an underdog in the Indian film industry and turned to be one of the greatest stars that Indian cinema has ever produced, perhaps one in the top five ever. He has taken steps after meticulous calculation and have forced opened all the doors that are required to build stardom.
He has teamed up with a set of people whom he is comfortable with perhaps and the associated with them has helped him to create his own space in Indian cinema. He has selected the right kind of cinema which helped him to be were he is presently. He has tried to experiment with little success but his kind of cinema has helped him to be much above all.
He is definitely not the greatest actor or performer that Indian cinema has ever produced and he may not figure anywhere in the top, but hs is one of the greatest stars produced bu Indian cinema. He has carved a niche for his kind of cinema and that is what has worked in this favor and perhaps against him. He will definitely have audience for that kind of cinema but little support and viewers for any experimentation and diversification.
Shahrukh Khan’s aggression is what has made him successful. He is selfish for success and is willing to go to any extent to make success his guest. His record fifty two interviews to promote Don is perhaps the clichéd fact to establish this point. He is definitely not a Rajnikanth to create the biggest hits in Indian cinema without even giving a single session to the media as part of film promotions. I think this is where the success of Shahrukh Khan lies. He understands what he needs to do get things going in his favor and he is wiling to go to any extent to get it going. He always strives to beat his opponents and wants to prove that he is the best in the industry. This is a quality that needs to be appreciated as greed is what is required to be successful in life.
He may often be criticized for his arrogant ways of articulation and his hunger to be the best. He may often be criticized for being a megalomaniac, narcissist and pompous. However in the world of selfish, arrogant, greedy, self-styled, masked and hypocritical people one needs to put thrash down and trample others to create your empire and be successful and that is exactly what he has done. He is definitely not a Kamal Hassan to turn experiments into successes and hence his success lies in the conversion of his packaging into successes. I feel that the youngsters of this country should take inspiration from his real life story of a common man to one of India’s greatest superstars. His energy levels are really high and confidence and hardwork are his pillars of strength. Success is a passion for him and it is this drive that keeps him going. His passion for success is the driving factor behind his success and it has turned to be an obsession for him. His success is a perfect statement of the fact that you need to be greedy for success life and need to be obsessed with it to conquer heights. Dream of the stars, set the focus on the stars, reach for the stars and make sure that you reach it. That is my interpretation of Shahrukh’s success as a star and that is the motivation that I draw from his life. .
